Be Strong and Courageous, Wherever You Go

Courage in Scripture is rarely the absence of fear. More often it is the willingness to keep walking with the Lord even with fear sitting on your shoulder.

Joshua 1:9 says, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." God hands Joshua a command and a promise in the same breath. Be strong — and remember I am with you.

The command is hard. The promise is what makes the command possible. Without the second half of the verse, the first half is unreasonable. With it, the first half becomes obedient.

The Nailed It Hat is a small, simple piece that keeps the cross in your line of sight as you walk into whatever the day brings. Worn with quiet confidence, not loud bravado.
