Faith Is the Substance of Things Hoped For
Faith is not a feeling. It is a settled trust in the character of God, even when the visible evidence has not caught up yet.
Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." The believer carries a kind of evidence the rest of the world does not have access to — the steady inner conviction that what God has said is true.
That kind of faith does not impress the world. It does not always make life easier. But it changes the way you walk through the parts of life that do not have answers yet.
The Jesus, The Way. The Truth. The Life. tee names the One in whom that faith is anchored. Not in feelings, not in outcomes, but in Jesus Himself.
