Nothing in All Creation Can Separate You from His Love
There are seasons when doubt creeps in and the question starts to feel less abstract: Am I still held? Does any of this still apply to me? Most believers have stood in that place at some point — wondering if the distance they feel is permanent.
Paul is not offering a feeling here. He is offering a declaration — persuaded, settled, certain. The list he runs through covers every conceivable category of threat: death, angels, time itself, depth, height. Nothing in all creation makes the list as something that can actually cut you off from what God has secured in Christ.
Romans 8:38-39 says, "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
