DTF Transfers — Pressing Instructions
For professional results, follow these four simple steps when applying your 2819 DTF Transfers.
Pro tip: Always test one garment first to dial in your press settings.
- 1. Pre-Press (5 seconds): Press the area where the design will go for 5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
- 2. Position Your Design: Place your DTF transfer exactly where you want it. Ensure it’s flat and smooth — use heat-resistant tape if needed.
-
3. Press & Peel:
Temp 310 °F (155 °C) | Medium-Firm Pressure | Time 12 seconds | Peel Warm/Instant.
Use parchment paper or a silicone cover sheet to protect the garment.
If parts don’t fully stick, lay the film back down and increase temperature by +15 °F or add pressure and press again. -
4. Final Press & Wash Instructions:
After peeling, cover again with parchment or a silicone sheet and press 15 seconds.
Wash inside-out, cold water, gentle cycle.
Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not iron directly on print or bleach.
